Gerald Ford Letter Signed as President To The Cincinnati Reds with Baseball Content & Related Photos
As baseball is our national sport, President Ford was happy to offer a signed thank you and congratulations on White House letterhead to the 1976 World Series Champion Cincinnati Reds. The bold signature is a casual "Jerry Ford" and the note appears fresh out of the Oval Office condition-wise. Ford writes that he will put the Reds autographed bat he received from the team in his sports collection. Wow! Condition is EX-MT+. Lot also includes four color and eight black and white photos of Ford at the World Series, including some of him throwing out the first pitch. Presidential letters with baseball content are next to impossible.
