Giant 1961 Mantle, Maris & Ruth Celluloid Pin (6”)
An impressive baseball pin, measures 6” in diameter and displays photos from the waist up of three of the most important Yankee sluggers of all time, Mickey Mantle, Babe Ruth, and Roger Maris. Print in bold black letters reads, “The Greatest Home Run Hitters, Shooting for 61 in ’61, New York Yankees.” A 1 inch section on the left edge of the front surface of the celluloid is worn away, exposing the metal underneath. 2” surface scratch protrudes under Mantle’s right arm. Pin back is intact, with die-cut cardboard (VG) - this would allow you to stand the piece up on a table or counter top.
