Gordie Howe Tournament Golf Bag

Gordie Howe Tournament Golf Bag

This rare, red golf bag is from Gordie Howe's 1971 golf tournament at the historic Plum Hollow Country Club in Southfield, Michigan. Measuring four feet long and 23 inches high, this bag reads "Gordie Howe Tournament" on one side. The other side features a logo in the shape of a shield divided into four quadrants. One shows a hockey stick and a puck, another a golf flag, a third the letters "PH" (Plum Hollow), and the fourth "GC" (presumably standing for "Golf Club"). Flanking the shield are two Chrysler automobile logos. A participant's badge bearing the name "Leo Riley" and the date "July 12, 1971" is included in the lot.
