Greetings From Asbury Park Gold Record Award

Greetings From Asbury Park Gold Record Award

RIAA Gold Record Award presented to Mike Batlan in honor of more than 500,000 copies in sales of the Columbia Records long-playing record album “Greetings from Asbury Park” (1973), which was Bruce’s very first album and one of the finest premier efforts in the history of music. Although now considered a classic, the album didn’t achieve the recognition it deserved until years later. Batlan was instrumental in the recording of several Spingsteen albums and served as Springsteen’s long time guitar roadie. From the very first cut, “Blinded by the Light”, it was obvious that something special was afoot. Record is in NRMT condition. Framed to 17 x 21”. Back is unopened.
