Check it out. Seven St. Louis Cardinals cashed and signed paychecks from 1960. If a ballplayer received a check for this meager amount today, he'd think it was a practical joke. Ken Boyer's is the only one over 1,000 dollars. Other checks are for Stanky, Sadecki, Harry "The Hat" Walker, "Daddy Wags" Wagner, Daryl Spencer and Pollet. These are the first Cardinal payroll checks we have come across. Checks are in Excellent plus condition overall.
