Pair of rare baseball broadsides are exceptional in terms of condition and content. The first, measuring 6 x 10" displays photo of G.C. Alexander, "Former National League Idol" and announces, "Sun. May 14, House of David Travelling Club featuring Grover Cleveland Alexander vs. Joe Green's Chicago Giants." Second larger broadside measures 11 x 17" and displays, "Young Men's Democratic Club Auburn's New Pro's vs. Hot Stove League of Rochester... featuring Jimmy Collins - first baseman of the St. Louis Cardinals." Both are Excellent except for some minor creasing throughout and a few small edge tears that are restored with clear tape.
