Gus Triandos House Sign
Gus Triandos spent the majority of his 13 year Major League career with the Baltimore Orioles, and this metal and cast iron sign came from his home in California, the product of an early estate auction. The sign measures 16x15" and has a figural batter poised above the name "G. Triandos," in individual lettering, though the "N" is missing. This sign dates from the 1950s, the catcher had a brief stint with the Yankees to start his career in 1953. The bat is repaired and the sign shows some wear and tear, could use a cleaning, but displays nicely.
