Hack Wilson Fund Bank from Hack Wilson Himself
Small, cylindrical, cardboard bank container for a charity fund in the name of Major League Baseball’s single-season RBI champ (191), center fielder Hack Wilson, who accomplished the feat in 1930 while playing for the Chicago Cubs, yet unfortunately died prematurely from alcoholism. 7 inches tall, it has coin slot on top, and label which reads, “I gave to the Hack Wilson Fund.” This originally came from the personal effects of Hack Wilson when he was destitute. Came from Lelands many years ago.
