Hall of Fame Umpire Tom Connolly's 1945 American League Admittance Pass
Longtime AL ump Tom Connolly, whose quick ejection finger was legendary, took off the mask in 1931 to become the circuit's Umpire in Chief for many years. In '53 he and Bill Klem were the 1st umps elected to the HOF. This, Connolly's complimentary AL pass for the 1945 season, is 2.75 x 4.25" and colored light blue with the league's eagle symbol, the year and "T.R. Connolly" meticulously written by a league official in black ballpoint. Back lists the 8 league clubs. NRMT and a very nice baseball curio.
