When "Sam" Rice made "The Catch" and prevented a game tying homerun during game 3 of the 1925 World Series, he cemented his place in baseball history. Here is the Hall of Famers personal scrapbook, covering 10 years from 1920 to 1930, full of newspaper clippings recounting his career, including the controversial catch against the Pirates. It also contains news of his other passion: golf. He was, in fact a great amateur golfer. Fascinating read and in very good condition.
