Handbuch Des Sports (Manual of the Sport) is a picture album from a Berlin youth book publishing house in 1932, sponsored by Sanella Margarine. It has 119 pages and includes 112 color pictures (almost all NR-MT) and many explanations of different sports terms. Sports portrayed include boxing, cricket, javelin, fencing, tennis, and rowing). Among the color pictures is one of Ruth watching a ball he has just hit (Slightly off center), Schmeling, and Sharkey. The book is self-described as: "The available manual is to give information on the entire area of the sport in scarce form, whereby those branches of sport were preferred, which are particularly exercised by young people.” It sounds like a poor translation but it’s a fun book to look through. Slight discoloration on a few pages but overall it looks great.
