Hank Aaron Signed The Sporting News Magazines (2)
This lot includes (2) issues of The Sporting News, the first of which dates from May 23, 1970 and features a full page cover photograph of Aaron with the heading 3,000-Hit Club. Aaron signed the cover in blue ball point pen and the signature rates a 8.5 out of 10. The other is an April 20, 1974 edition with an illustration of Hank Aaron and Babe Ruth on the cover with the heading 715 Home Runs. Hank Aaron has autographed the cover beside his image and the blue ball point signature rates a 9 out 10. Both periodicals are in EX condition with no wrinkles or tears and very minor toning due to the age of the newsprint.
