Hank Greenberg Autograph Collection Of Four
Four neat items signed by Hammerin' Hank with other notables. UPI wire photo autographed by Greenberg (9/10), Marv Owen (7/10) and Billy Rogell (10/10). 8x10" photo is Ex-Mt. 1954 UPI photo of Greenberg with Bill Veeck signed by both. Blue ball-point autograph of Veeck is strong (8/10), while Hank's blue fountain pen example is bold, but contrast could be better (7/10). Photo has clipped corners, and would grade VG. 7x10" newsprint photo from 1976 SCD cover features Greenberg, Gehringer, Rogell and Owen. Only the Gehringer sig is less than Near Mint. Final item is album page from 1934 signed by twelve Tigers including Cochrane, Gehringer, Rogell, Rowe, Auker and Greenberg. Autos rate 7-9 on VG album page framed with black and white photos of the keys.
