Hank Greenberg Handwritten Letter with Rare Full-Name Signature
One-page letter penned by Hammerin' Hank on his personal business letterhead ("Hank Greenberg The Stadium Cleveland 13 Ohio"). Baseball's first Jewish superstar writes to inform a fan that he is no longer affiliated with the Cleveland Baseball club. Content reads in part, "....I am no longer engaged in the affairs of the Cleveland Baseball club. I suggest you refer your recommendations to Mr. William R. Daley, chairman of the Board of the Cleveland Club." The letter is signed boldy by Hank with a rare full-name signature, "Sincerely Yours, Henry B. Greenberg". Bold blue fountain pen script is NRMT or better throughout. Vintage letterhead shows one small pinhole at the top (far away from any of the writing) and several spots of scrapbook residue on the reverse. Otherwise, EX-MT with the usual fold lines.
