Harry Agganis Signature Display
Signature display of tragic Boston Red Sox figure Harry Agganis includes a brilliant 6.5x9" photo, matted along with a cut autograph and mounted to 10x14.5". Crisp autograph in blue ballpoint pen measures just over 3" long. A magnificent athlete, Agganis passed up a shot to play pro football for the Cleveland Browns, opting instead to join the Sox in 1954. He quickly earned a starting slot before becoming ill early in the 1955 season, returning only briefly before passing away from a pulmonary embolism at the age of 26. As a bonus, this lot comes with a book and DVD about Agganis' story.
