Herbert Hoover Signed Baseball
This Official American League (Barnard) game-used baseball has "1929" written on it. The baseball was most likely signed at the World Series in Philadelphia because it has been autographed by a number of A's players and coaches. All of their signatures have been traced over. Former President Herbert Hoover also signed this baseball in black fountain ink. His signature grades a 7/10. His signature has not been traced over, and can be found on one of the side panels with one other autograph. The Wall Street Crash of 1929 hit America just months after Hoover took office.
