High Grade Don Drysdale Single Signed Baseball
Don Drysdale, who pitched for the Brooklyn and Los Angeles Dodgers, was certainly intimidating. He stood 6'5", very tall for his era, and he threw hard and inside. Drysdale combined with Sandy Koufax to give the Los Angeles Dodgers a tremendous one-two pitching punch. Don won 209 games and had a lifetime ERA of only 2.95. His best record was in 1965 when he went 25-9. Drysdale could also hit. In 1965, in 130 at bats he hit .300 with seven homers. Throughout his career he was used as an occasional pinch hitter. After his playing career, Drysdale became a broadcaster. He passed away in 1993. His autograph is neatly signed on the sweet spot in blue pen on an Official National League Baseball (Giamatti).
