Historic 1982 Happy Chandler Letter Congratulating Bob Broeg On His HOF Induction
<p>Nicely written thank you letter from Happy Chandler to Bob Broeg. Broeg was a member of the Veterans Committee and very influential in Chandlers induction. As commissioner of Major League Baseball Chandler approved the contract between Jackie Robinson and the Brooklyn Dodgers, effectively integrating baseball. Nice piece of baseball history/memorabilia.</p>
