Honus Wagner Autographed Postcard
Johannes Peter "Honus" Wagner made his mark as a player in the major leagues in the late 19th and early-20th century, before spending nearly two decades as a coach. This post card from the Hotel Almanac in New York is personalized by Wagner, "With best wishes from J. Honus Wagner - Pirates Coach - Sept 15/36." The card has the original one-cent stamp and postal cancellation, and while there is slight staining on the photo side, the writing and signature remain crystal-clear. The card is in VG-EX condition, while the signature in black ink rates 8.5/10.
