Honus Wagner Mounted Photo On Horse From His Estate
Giddey-up! It’s Honus on a Horse! What no picture of the Hall of Fame superstar with a mitt, a Pittsburgh uniform or standing out on a ballfield? No, this is a side of Honus Wagner we have never seen before. There’s a photo head shot of Wagner (no uniform in sight) straddling a pencil-drawn illustration of his body on a horse. The photo-illustration part measures 1 1/2” x 2” but it’s mounted on a board measuring a total of 3” x 3 1/2”. There is a water-stain in the upper left corner of the card along with some print-mark smudges. Hi, ho- Honus! Fans of Wagner will want to quickly ride away with this rare piece of memorabilia.
