Honus Wagner Signed Album Page (PSA)
Honus Wagner was an Inaugural Inductee to the Baseball Hall of Fame, and offered is a hobby fresh signed album page with the great shortstop's signature. Wagner played 21 years in the Major Leagues, all in the National League: Louisville (1897-99) and the Pittsburgh Pirates (1900-17). He batted a career .328, with 101 home runs and 723 stolen bases. He was a key part of Pittsburgh's 1909 World Championship team. Wagner was well-liked and well-respected by players and fans alike. Honus was a gracious star. Once, when told that great Negro League shortstop John "Pop" Lloyd was called the "Black Wagner," Honus responded, "I am honored to hear that John Lloyd is called the Black Wagner. It is a pleasure to have been compared to him." The autograph is signed "Honus Wagner" and the signature was written in blue ink from a fountain pen. The album page measures 4.3x5.4". The Wagner signature is neatly written, big and bold. The album page exhibits some fading from the passage of time. The signed album page has been encapsulated and PSA/DNA certified as AUTHENTIC AUTO.
