Important documents pertaining to the trade of George Kelly for Edd Roush prior to the 1927 season. This move was particularly important as it allowed a young Bill Terry to blossom into the first baseman he was destined to become. Includes Kelly's transfer agreement and cover letter with great stationery header in original envelope addressed to Kelly. All writing is in the hand of Secretary Tierney and has usual fold lines from being put into the envelope.
