Pensive study of the brilliant Einstein is an original, vintage photograph by Johan Hagemeyer. Hagemeyer, an important photographer from Amsterdam, influenced such legendary men as Edward Henry Weston (1886-1958) one of the most influential photographers of the 20th century. Original newspaper clipping on verso identifies the photographer and quotes Einstein as pondering his theories. Dated June 30, 1931, it measures 8.25x5.25”. In excellent condition, this image is improvable. Simply stunning.
