Incredible MINT Signed Baseballs with 1951 New York Giants (4)
From a St. Louis man whose parents met Leo Durocher and wife Laraine Day while on a cruise in the late 1940s. They became friends and the family always attended Durocher games when in St. Louis. 1) The NICEST "Giants Win the Pennant" signed baseball we have seen, 1951 NL Champions with 23 sigs in original bag including a real Durocher on the sweet spot (most are stamped). Mays and others are here as well. 2) 1952 NY Giants with 24 signatures and stamped Durocher on sweet spot. 3) 1962 Los Angeles Dodgers with 25 signatures is simply MINT with no defects, in original box. All three are on ONL and there are some clubhouse sigs, so "as is." 4) 1951 Giants Xmas card in the shape of a baseball with pic inside of Durocher and son in matching uniforms. Signed "P.S. Me Too Laraine (Day)." This card has an ink stain.
