Interesting 1940s-50s Jimmy Bryan Collection with Autograph, Receipts & Certificates - Sourced from Len Gasper Collection (20+)
This collection of automotive-themed treats dates roughly a decade before Jimmy Bryan would go on to win the Indianapolis 500 in 1958, The lot includes: 1948 Gilmore Stadium Midget race pit pass and ticket with "Bryan" autograph, four 1948 Phoenix Midget race pit passes, a note from Len Gasper reading: "Don (free passes), These are Bryan's 1948 Phx midget passes. He never signed them. Everyone knew him." Also included are 14 receipts from Bryan, most of them for gas, others for pistons, dry cleaning and more. Some have "Bryan" or "Jim Bryan" handwritten on them. Everything here had been given to Don by Len Gasper, including a pair of certificates for car inspections from state of California and a 1950 AAA certificate of record. One of the receipts has been signed by Bryan and comes with a PSA LOA.
