In his letter to John Dohrenwend, the brilliant, successful and complex composer, Irving Berlin thanks him for his vote of confidence on his smash hit, “White Christmas”, which he had just finished writing. Berlin was universally known and wrote for Hollywood and Broadway. His contributions such as “God Bless America” and “There’s No Business Like Show Business” are timeless classics. Letter bears Berlin’s perfect signature and comes with original mailing envelope. Penciled on envelope is “From Irving Berlin”. Letter is in Mint condition except for the creases from folding when it was mailed.
