J. Franklin Baker Signed Photo
Nicknamed “Home Run,” and one of the greatest third baseman of all time, Frank Baker was a hitter, and especially so as a World Series participant, slamming all-important home runs at the most crucial of times, and slugging .538 for all of the twenty-five World Series games he performed in between 1910 and 1922. Though primarily a Philadelphia Athletic, here he is pictured in New York pinstripes, where he played from 1916 to 1922. The legendary clutch hitter signs this sepia photo - a cut-down version of a Baseball Magazine premium - in 9/10 blue fountain pen as "J. Franklin Baker." Originally from the Ambrose Edens collection. Photo itself is EX, and measures 3 x 5 ?”.
