Jack Lambert Super Bowl XIV Game Used Presentational Interception Ball

ADDENDUM: All items in the Jack Lambert Collection, including this one, will come with an LOA from Jack Lambert.

Tremendous and significant presentational game ball directly from the personal collection of Jack Lambert. This Official NFL (Rozelle) ball was game used in Super Bowl XIV, in which the Pittsburgh Steelers staged a fourth-quarter rally to top the Los Angeles Rams, 31-19, and capture their then-record fourth Lombardi Trophy. With LA trailing 24-19 but driving, Lambert's interception with under six minutes left halted the Rams' attempt, and Franco Harris' touchdown run on the ensuing drive sealed the win. This was the actual ball that Jack intercepted to lead his team to victory, painted after the game and then presented to him. On a black panel, colorful painting reads, "SUPER BOWL XIV LAMBERT" in bright yellow, in smaller blue across the top is, "Sun, Jan. 20, 1980 - Interception - Rose Bowl," with the score across the bottom. Ball is in EX condition, though it does not hold air well; also beautifully signed by Lambert across an entire panel in silver along with his number 58 and HOF '90. Magnificent and historically significant presentation piece.
