Jackie Robinson's First Game by Harry Hirsch
Nice action shot of Jackie Robinson on April 13, 1947, two days before his MLB debut. This was an exhibition game at Ebbets Field between the Brooklyn Dodgers and the NY Yankees. Robinson, in this photo, was just obtained by the Dodgers from Montreal, and took the throw from pitcher Taylor. Original paper caption is attached to the verso. 6 1/2 x 8 1/2". EX.
