Jackie Robinson Autographed Book, "Baseball Has Done It"
Classic 1964 book, "Baseball Has Done It", written by Jackie Robinson to discuss the intergration of our National Pastime and "Negro" ballplayers of the past, present and future. The book has the original dust jacket and is signed by Robinson in clear blue pen on the inside page, "Best Wishes, Jackie Robinson." The signature rates a "9" out of a possible 10. The cover of the book shows a drawing of Robinson wearing a suit and tie and looking very concerned. The book discusses segregation and the Civil Rights movement and how baseball fits into the scheme of life in the early 1960s. This out of print book is EX-MT.
