Jackie Robinson Hall of Fame Ring

Jackie Robinson Hall of Fame Ring

This is a historically important presentation ring of the first African American in the Cooperstown, New York National Baseball Hall of Fame. It was presented to Jackie in 1962, one of the most historic ceremonies in baseball history. One side features the name "Robinson" inside with crossed bats over a baseball below and "Elected 1962." The other side reads the "The National Baseball Hall of Fame" and "2nd Baseman" above. On the face of the ring is "Baseball Hall of Fame" with a centered baseball embedded in black onyx. Engraved on the inside is, "Balfour 10k." Mint. These rings were given only to players and only a handful are in private hands outside the players and their fami-lies. This is the most important Hall of Fame Ring and baseball ring ever publicly offered.
