Sparse crowd reflects Thorpe's less-than-glorious stint in the national pastime after football and Olympic achievements. A one-inch chunk is separated from the backing on the bottom and on the right border, but the print is gorgeous and o/w EX. Penciled Thorpe identification on the back, along with Charles M. Conlon stamp for the Evening Telegram.
