Jimmie Foxx Signed 1931 Baseball Magazine Framed Photo
Jimmy “Beast” Foxx, often referred to as the right-handed Gehrig, captured three MVP awards and a won a Triple Crown. One of the greatest to ever put on a Red Sox uniform. In 1931, Foxx posed for Baseball Magazine and here has signed it flamboyantly in black ink across his image. Below the photo caption reads “Jimmy Foxx, Sturdy Slugger of the World’s Champions, and his “Home Run” Bat.” “1931” is written in ink along the reverse side’s bottom edge. The photo has been carefully trimmed to its present 8-1/2 X 10-1/2” and has a few negligible creases on its surface. Overall in EX condition. Matted in green. Frame is 14-1/4 X 17-1/4” Comes with addtional LOA.
