Jimmy Piersall Baseball Photographs from the SFX Archives (56)
The San Francisco Examiner archives have yielded this large collection of Jimmy Piersall photos (56). They date from 1952-1970 with the vast majority being from the early 1960's. They range in size from 3" x 6" to 8 1/2" x 11". Most are 8" x 10" and average EX condition, the vast majority with captions and a few with newspaper edit markings. Piersall was a very volatile player. His antics including several melees and fights are well represented in this collection. There are also shots of he and Arnold Palmer, Disney's Goofy and Casey Stengel as well as several with his rather large family.
