Joe DiMaggio protected his image and his autograph with the same grace he played, so having both a limited-edition jersey and bat signed by The Yankee Clipper is an incredible asset . DiMaggio put pen to wool on the 1941 reissue jersey under the interlocking NY (note the big J and smaller D). The bottom of the shirt reads "In the summer of '41, Joe DiMaggio hit safely in 56 straight games, wearing these New York Yankee Pinstripes." A red-embroidered 93/325 is stitched below it, meaning this is a rare acquisition indeed. The Louisville Slugger features DiMaggio's penhand (or markerhand, to be exact) right next to his carved signature. These were in short supply, too, as the branded "Limited Edition 524/1941" attests. Comes with notarized LOA's and photos of Joe signing both bat and jersey.
