Colorful advertising sign for Chesterfield cigarettes features Hall of Famer Joe DiMaggio and four other top athletes of 1949. "The Yankee Clipper" is shown wearing a gray suit and tie and smiling as he signs a box of Chesterfields. DiMaggio says, "Here's the one I'm really glad to put my name on. It's my cigarette." This ad measures approximately 20 x 14" and features DiMaggio, Lou Boudreau, golfer Ben Hogan, tennis star Jack Kramer and San Francisco 49ers quarterback Frankie Albert. The writing is in bold blue and red with patriotic white stars and says, "Always Buy Chesterfield: The Best Cigarette for You to Smoke". The corners show a little wear but otherwise, NRMT.
