Though he played over a century ago, the signature of Hall of Famer Joe Kelley could not be sprightlier than it appears on this album page. One of John McGraw's big weapons with the old Baltimore Orioles in the 1890s that won four pennants, Kelley piled up 167 runs in 1894, second all-time only to Billy Hamilton's 196 that same season. A lifetime .317 hitter, the slick outfielder also played with the Brooklyn Superbas (Dodgers), winning two more pennants, and was also the Reds' player-manager in 1906. He wrote, "With best wishes, Joe Kelley," in blue pen. Again, a perfect signature. Album page 4 x 6" is NRMT with a splendid light brown hue.
