Joe Tinker & Johnny Evers Signatures Together on the Same Sheet of Paper

Joe Tinker & Johnny Evers Signatures Together on the Same Sheet of Paper

Two Hall of Famers from the most famous and poetic double play combination in baseball history signed one letter written to a fan and dated April 1, 1936. The letter is written in black fountain ink and measures approximately 6 1/2 x 3" and reads, "To our little Pittsburg baseball fan, Jimmy Kehr, Sincerely yours, Johnny J. Evers; Jos. B. Tinker. The signatures rate a solid "9" out of a possible 10. It is very rare to have these two Hall of Famers sign the same item. The paper is mounted and presented with an 8" x 10" photo of each player and a gold colored plaque below that reads, "Joe Tinker and Johnny Evers, Famous Chicago Cubs Infield Combination of Tinkers to Evers to Chance." The entire collection is matted and placed in a handsome black frame measuring approximately 29" X 15". NR MT.
