Large Collection of 1940's-50's Brooklyn Dodgers Photographs (450+)
Here's a terrific grouping of scrapbook photos chronicling Dodgers history in the 1940s and 1950s. Over 75% of the collection are originals printed at the time that they were taken, with nearly all black and white and a very good majority 7x9" and 8x10". All of the greats of the era are represented here, most of them on multiple images. Jackie, Campy, Drysdale, The Duke, Durocher, just to name a few. Some very special images range from spring training to the World Series. There are posed shots as well as action images. Many of these were used for the team yearbooks and some are by noted photographers such as Barney Stein. As an added bonus, a few are signed by the players. You will not be disappointed with this collection. Average condition is VG-EX.
