Large Metal Sign from Shibe Park/Connie Mack Stadium
Home to both the Philadelphia Athletics and Phillies, Shibe Park, originally named after the A's owner Ben Shibe back in 1908 and later called Connie Mack Stadium after the HOFer, is now only a memory. More than 30 years have passed since the last Major League ball game was played there. From this historic stadium comes this 24x46" double-sided steel sign. The white sign with red lettering reads, "Children Unaccompanied By Adults Must Enter At 21st And Somerset Special Gate." This sign hung outside the the stadium and shows the typical wear and tear that one would suspect to find on a well-used steel piece that's exposed to the weather.
