Larry Doby Autographed Limited Edition Bats (10)

Larry Doby Autographed Limited Edition Bats (10)

Set of 10 Adirondack bats all signed in blue Sharpie by Larry Doby, Hall of Famer, and the first African American to play in the American Leagues. Doby's Major League career began in 1947 with the Cleveland Indians. He managed the Chicago White Sox in 1978, was a World Series champion in 1948, and was selected seven times as an All-Star. The black plaques on the bat barrels read, from top line down, "Larry Doby", "1st Black Player A.L.", "Debut July 5, 1947", "1952 Home Run 1954", "32 H.R. Champ 32 H.R.". The only difference is the last line in each bat, which reads "33", "46", "58", "41", "21", "62", "26", "61", "55", or "44" "of 64." All autographs rate a 9/10.
