Max Carey was a noted base-stealer throughout his career in the 1910s and '20s. This baseball was signed by Carey and none else at the last game of the 1927 Brooklyn Dodgers' season. It is stamped "Official National League" along with the Spalding logo and stamped signature of National League President John A. Heydler. Written on the ball in ink is "Last ball season 1927 - Caught at Brooklyn by Max Carey against Boston Red Sox. All writing is in Carey's hand and the ball originally came from his estate. The ball is game-used while the signature is 6.5/10.
