This breathtakingly scenic stone lithograph from 1936 almost makes one want to croon "the hills are alive with the sound of ten-irons". The great golf artwork places the beholder on the Lausanne Golf Course, nestled in the majestic mountains of Switzerland, which just may be the most scenic place in the world to play a round. In an area of yellow sky is a four-letter word that can be read in any language -- "Golf" -- in green capital letters. Beneath, the snow-capped mountains are tinted blueish gray, overlooking the greens and yellows of the fairway. The stunning tableau rises above the word "Lausanne" in yellow and "Suisse Switzerland Schweiz" in red against a solid green background. Litho is NRMT and mounted on heavy stock paper sized to 29 x 43".
