Leo Durocher Brooklyn Dodgers Cold Weather Jacket
Talk about a weather-proof jacket! This extremely heavy parka weighs over seven pounds and features both a wool lining and blue satin exterior. Hard to imagine any frosty April night getting the upper hand on anyone wearing this number. There's Spalding size 44 tagging in the collar and a Chenille Brooklyn "B" sewn on the left breast. This very rare jacket was used during the 1940s and comes with a letter from the family of the person who obtained this from Leo Durocher, who finished his playing career with the Dodgers while also serving as the team's manager. The jacket exhibits use with some tears near the wrist cuffs, but there's no mistaking it as a highly collectible item.
