Lido Palace Winning Whitney Handicap Saddle Cloth

Lido Palace Winning Whitney Handicap Saddle Cloth

Competing successfully in Chile and the United States, Lido Palace is best known for becoming the first Chilean Triple Crown winner in history. He continued his career in the United States, where he most notably won back-to-back runnings of the prestigious Grade 1 Woodward Stakes (2000, 2001), defeating the 2000 Horse-of-the-Year and two-time Breeders Cup Classic winner Tiznow in the 2001 edition, as well as the Whitney Handicap, defeating the multiple graded stakes winner Albert the Great. The blue cloth offered here, with gold and white trim with white #3 and "Lido Palce" stitched in gold, is from his winning Whitney Handicap in 2001.
