"Lightning Mandate" 1974 San Pedro Horse Racing Silver Trophy by Tiffany - Laffit Pincay Jr.
Up for auction is this one-of-a-kind horse racing trophy, presented to the owners of Lightning Mandate for winning the "San Pedro" on June 21, 1974, at Santa Anita with Hall of Fame jockey, Laffit Pincay Jr aboard. This beautiful trophy/bowl was crafted by Tiffany and Co. and weighs 17.3 ounces. The base measures 3.5" and the top is 7" in diameter, and it has the race info including winner, time, and jockey all engraved on the bowl. There is a green enamel "TC" logo mark on the opposite side and shows slight tarnish but no visible scratches or dents, and is overall in EX condition.
