Lot of 1940's-1970's MLB Green & Red Books (53)
A tremendous lot of fifty three (53) Major League Baseball League Media books from the 1940's through early 1970's. Each book, "The Red Book" for the American League and "The Green Book" for The National League is released at the start of each season and usually contains information such as each team's roster, previous year's league leaders, rules, all-time leaders etc. Books were only available directly from each league and were sent to team officials and the media. The Green books are from 1945-72 (except 1962 & '71) and the Red books date: 1945-72 ( except 1962,'64 & '71). Lot also includes a 1989 Red Book, a 1949 Sporting News Record Book and a 1952 Enyclopedia of Baseball Supplemental Book. Most are EX-MT.
