Lou Gehrig has just joined a Wall Street brokerage firm to become a stock broker. Interestingly enough this is only a month after Black Tuesday. This was perhaps a public relations move by Wall Street to bolster confidence in the stock market. With period stock ticker, he is joining the firm of an old Columbia University teammate shown here.
