Louis B. Mayer Signed Movie Contracts (10)
An outstanding assemblage of ten signed contracts from one of Hollywood's earliest and biggest producers. During the silent film era, Louis Mayer ruled Hollywood and successfully parlayed a group of theatre chains to establish the all-important MGM studio, while producing such classics as <i>Ben Hur</i> & <i>The Wizard of Oz.</i> Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer contracts typed on 8.5x11" MGM paper all pertain to motion pictures & actors during the 1920's through 1950's. Pages exhibit some toning, EX to NRMT. Louis Mayer's signatures in black fountain pen are fabulous, receiving an average grade of "9". LOA.
