Mantle, DiMaggio and Williams Signed Photograph
Wonderful, signed 11 x 14 photo of DiMaggio, Williams and Mantle from 1951, the only season the trio was in the big leagues at the same time. For Joe D., the clenched jaw may have been a tacit sign that he knew his star was fading and would soon be eclipsed by the brawny kid from Oklahoma, who in the shot looks young enough to be Joe's son. The Splinter, meanwhile, wears a Cheshire cat grin, secure in his place and perhaps a bit relieved DiMaggio wouldn't be around much longer to take MVP awards from him and pennants from his team (just his luck, Mantle would take over that role). Signatures in blue marker are all NRMT and likely the best grouping of these magical markers to be found. Photo also NRMT and mounted impeccably under glass in a 15 x 18" wood frame.
